Voraussichtlich kein Abo-Modell für Diablo 3
Im Zuge der World Wide Invitational hat die Seite http://www.1up.com die Gelegenheit genutzt und Rob Pardo, Vizepräsident von Blizzard, zu interviewen. Dabei stellten sie auch die interessante Frage nach der Finanzierung des Spieles. Es kursieren Gerüchte, demzufolge ähnlich wie bei World of Warcraft ein Abo erwartet wird.
Rob Pardo erklärte, dass das Finanzierungsmodell noch nicht entgültig fest steht, er geht aber davon aus, dass man das Spiel normal im Laden für einen festen Preis wird kaufen können.
Hier der Auszug aus dem Gespräch:
“1UP: Speaking of the WOW experience, other action-RPG games have attempted a subscription model of sorts, can you talk at all about that for Diablo III?
RP: Well, ultimately, we’ll decide on the final business model of the game in the future, but I don’t think you’re going to see a subscription model in the realm of WOW. It’s a boxed product game, it will be more similar to say, the Diablo II or the StarCraft II model.”

Das wäre aber auch schön blöd,monatliche Kosten zu bringen.Viele würden sich davon abgeschreckt fühlen(*hust ich *hust)
Leider sehen viele Publisher soein Abo-System trotzdem als bessere Einnahmequelle als der übliche Kaufpreis. Und leider sind alle Firmen nur auf Profit aus.
Aber wie es aussieht haben wir bei Dialbo 3 Glück
